Form 59

This form is about exploring the mystery of where water goes. In this particular design, I’m using distinct geometry to highlight how the water collects and runs out, like sand slowly proceeding through an hourglass. Two cylinders with the same proportions are connected by a cone, which narrows to a minimal point where the water can drip slowly into the lower compartment. The cone is connected to the flat plate that forms a lid over the saucer, but can be removed to dispense excess water.
