The Neck Vase features a precise transition partway down the profile creating not only a distinctive form but an opportunity to showcase our love of glaze and its many beautiful and unexpected combinations. Fog is carefully layered over Poppy by hand in a three-step process to create a warm, glowing gradient down the length of the piece. Originally created as a one of a kind design for Design Series 2, the Neck Vase has become a favorite of Clay Studio Director, Tung Chiang. Each vase is thrown and glazed by the skilled hands of Jeff Perkins and Alex Corrin in the SF Studio.
