Inspired by ping pong paddles, here are two spheres perched over narrow feet. Inside each sculpture is a small ceramic bead. Pick up the piece, gently shake, and allow the twinkling sound to remind you of something you don’t want to forget. The surfaces are glazed in high gloss, the dark glaze revealing depth like an antique mirror. The light glaze is opaque yet bright. The glaze stops short to reveal the clay underneath. A beauty resulting from years of glaze research from Design Series' past.
